It would basically be a casual game if it were not for the introduction of enemies about an hour in. Combat is honestly the games weakest point. I'm not even sure if the combat was needed. The game is fairly good overall. I wouldnt say its challenging. But nice game to explore. Story mode is short, you play as a guy who is trapped underneath the mines. You have both an item that grabs and push stuff, and a big ball. The big ball is pretty much the companion cube of Portal 2 (those who has played it), except you will spend the WHOLE adventure with that ball. There will be puzzles and few boss fights. Theres really nothing big about this game but its alright. This game has not only story mode but survival mode as well.Recommend only if you just want to explore and want a simple game. Dont expect alot from this game though.. This game clearly tried to play off of the Portal "one mechanic for the whole game" idea. Except, thinking with Portals is more fun than thinking with a Ball. The game has some good puzzles, most of which can be figured out with some effort, but the mediocre story (told through an acceptable if not great narration) and levels which all have the same colour palette (I get it, it's underground, not a ton you can do with that) led to me only wanting to see what the next puzzle was. Couldn't care about anything else. Some technical issues like textures popping in and out during cutscenes (and rarely when playing) and an overuse of bloom (this is a game from 2010 after all) also muddy the experience.Overall, I'd say: play it if you really enjoy puzzle games. And occasionally being startled by zombies. Otherwise, it's a forgettable experience.. Fun game from the guys who gave us Killing Floor. Best estimation I can give of it is a portalesque puzzler with Ancient Central American ruins in place of a testing center and a Giant Ball in place of portals. You use a giant ball to solve physics based puzzles and crush monkeys and zombie mummies. Nuff said. A solid ~15 hour game with survival missions and cheevos. Most of the acheivements are moderately hard to do, with a few being rather grindy (Hammer Time). Pick it up on sale.. Some of the most fun on a game I've had in a super long time. I definitely reccomend this to any and all. Mechanics are neat, puzzles are fun, visuals are awesome, some parts are eerie; it's just an all around good game.. Decent puzzle game with simple mechanics: pull or push the ball. The story is OK, the visuals are nice.
